Jeremy Jenkins is currently a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor for WGAL, the number one news station in the market.
A native Arkansan, he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a degree in Mass Media. During this time, he found his love for communications after studying abroad in Costa Rica as a part of an Intercultural Communications project. There, he was responsible for touring the country and conducting research to highlight the social and economic differences between American and Costa Rican culture. Later, he would go on to intern for Sinclair Broadcast Group's ABC affiliate KATV, local lifestyle publication Inclusion Magazine, and the San Diego based marketing company Neato.
Jeremy's career began as a Bureau Reporter at KWYB/KTMF in Butte, Montana. After serving as a fill-in Live Reporter covering the Glacier National Park fires of 2017, he was re-assigned to Statewide Morning Reporter covering everything from features, weather, traffic, and politics across western Montana.
Outside of the newsroom Jeremy has been honored for his work as a community advocate. In 2018, he was chosen as a nominee for Favorite News Personality for the Missoulian's annual Missoula Choice Award. He's also an awarded fundraiser for Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure. Other organizations he's worked with include Relay for Life, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
